How We Work

We begin with an initial conversation and needs assessment to better understand where you are and where you want to be. This allows us to establish an open relationship and quickly identify and break through possible barriers to take advantage of awaiting opportunities. Our next step is to work closely with you to gather information pertinent to the area of our focus and if needed, observe current operations.

Our team will then work together to create a proposal identifying best practices and relevant solutions for your needs. We recognize each client and company has unique needs, timelines, resources and budgets. We pride ourselves on providing individualized proposals based on your specific needs.

The cost of our training and consulting programs depends on the scope and timeline required. We are able to oversee, facilitate, fully implement or hand off a detailed action plan which will step by step guide you to achieve your ideal results.

Deb Pierrel - Resort Hotel Consultant

Ms. Pierrel's depth of experience in hotel and resort operations serves as the backbone of Intellectual Equity Resort Consulting and Training. Her experience includes operations, central reservations, sales and marketing, strategy, information technologies, customer relations management, retail, food and beverage, start-ups, acquisitions and whole and shared ownership real estate.

Deborah received her BA in Business Administration from Almeda University, but attributes her success to lifelong travel and hospitality industry passion, knowledge and training. Her history includes varied global strategic level positions with Vail Resorts, Mammoth Mountain, Kapalua Bay Hotel, The Steamboat Grand Hotel, Steamboat Central Reservations, Res-Tech, Saas Fee Central Reservations, several Intrawest properties, and more. She owned and operated the Mammoth Creek Inn, located in Mammoth Lakes, California until she sold it in 2007. Deborah now manages her private investment portfolio of vacation, rental properties and small boutique hotels.

Known for her leadership and innovation within every department of resorts and properties; Deborah’s drive and zeal for the industry has led to her award winning expertise in hotel operations. She remains relevant in all facets of the industry with on-going training, networking and social groups, seeking knowledge as a consultant, and her many affiliations.
